At just 27 years of age, Francesca Rosenberg is already making a name for herself in the world of fashion with her amazing unique designs. She has been approached by many well known faces such as Jamelia, and her eye catching and bespoke designs turn heads wherever they are seen.
Francesca left school, choosing to go and work in fashion retail. Unsure at that stage as to what she wanted to do, Francesca started to experiment with designs and fabric in her spare time, customising and making her own clothes. These designs received a lot of compliments and soon she was designing and making clothes for friends, family, colleagues, and other people she met. It was while she was watching a friend’s end of year college fashion show that she realised she was already more advanced than some of the people who had spent three years studying their craft.
Francesca took the decision to go to college in 1997. She was the only experienced person in her class, making complex items, using her own patterns and building designs around the dressmakers dummy rather than using ready-made traditional patterns. She soon realised that college was not the right move for her, spending most of her time acting more as a tutor to the other students than learning new things.
After dabbling in computer training she decided to take her courage in her hands and
set up her first shop in Staffordshire. Three years later, Francesca had made a success of the business and was seeking bigger things. She launched an online boutique, Vanity4Sanity, selling nothing but her own bespoke designs of glamorous dresses and tops.
Today Vanity4Sanity has a growing and loyal customer base. A cutting edge ‘new look’ website is being launched on 27th August 2007 incorporating a broad range of exciting items including shoes, accessories, designer casual wear and evening wear, and an affordable range of tops and dresses. The website also features exclusive, hard-to-come-by lines in swimwear and lingerie and new for 2007, Vanity4Sanity will be launching their menswear range.
